  • John Trujillo  - My Amazing wife
    Michelle & I have been married for 13yrs & have 3 children.

We work with couples in our community & church.

Recently Michelle was diagnosed with stage4 Colin Cancer with 2-3yrs of life.

Due to the cancer,Michelle doesn't get out much, but that doesn't stop her from
helping those in need at our home by phone, via e-mail,and face-book.

One of Michelle's wishes,is to visit Joel Osteen church in Houston TX. the same
city where Gary Chapman's Convention will be.

Despite Michelle's condition she continues to have Faith,Hope & Love, and is such
    an encouragement to so many.

    Blessings,

    John
  • Judy Mendes  - 20 years of growing together
My Husband and I will be married 20 years in June of this year. We have 4
children, one two year old grandson and one due in April. My husband Pete has
had 13 heart attacks, and 2 triple by-passes, he's 48, and in congestive heart
    failure.

The doctors call him a miracle, he really is, God is using him in big ways. He
is an amazing man everyone who knows him loves him. We never know when God will
call him home, we have never had the money to do anything or go any where, so
this would be such a blessing.

I would just love to learn new things we could do for one another, but also to
teach our children in thier relationships.

Thank you for ready this have a very blessed day!

  • Karli Edwards  - God's Grace and Love
We have been married for four years this July. And in that time, we have faced
many challenges. Right after we got married, I started having really horrible
mood swings and was having auditory hallucinations. After five months of
marriage, I was hospitalized because of these symptoms. After that, we were
devastated to find out that I had bi-polar disorder. It was a long hard road of
trying different medications and none of them working, but God got us through
it and He continually is working in our lives. God blessed us with a son in
2008, and I am so thankful for my husband and my son!

  • Tony Narvasa
Hi my name is Tony. My wife and I have been married or 23 years. It has not been
easy I thought it was over quite a few times. We love each other very much but
we fight very. 10 years ago she said she wanted out. But God told me to love her
through this. I did not know what all that meant but i listened. Well that was a
rough 3years and 2 broken harts later we are trying to make it work. To this day
I am not sure if we can keep going on but we keep trying. I do not know what we
are missing in our marriage but something is, If this conference can help I
would love to go. We need this to help heal 2 broken harts.
  • Jennifer Anderson
10 yrs of marriage and 6 children later, I can truly say that my husband is
still my best friend! He is the most selfless God-fearing man. He has provided
for our family by working 2-3 jobs just to make ends meet. Just one example of
how self-sacrificing he is, he mowed yards for 6 months straight and bought a
hot tub to ease my horrific arthritic pain! I know there is not enough money in
the world to show him my love, but this could be my ultimate attempt to thank
him for everything he has done. He deserves a well deserved break in addition to
renewing and strengthening our marriage like only God can! In Christ
  • Lynn Williams  - Marriage conference trip
Hum-I can't compete with some of the remarks that the other couples have made.
I would like to be entered in the contest however-who knows maybe this is what
our marriage needs-to know that there are other couples like us. We will be
married 23 years next month. Our boys are 15 & 20 they just don't seem to need
us anymore-so what are we to do now! It is almost like our lives are about to
end-what are our goals-the house is almost paid for, we have raised the
children-now what? Have we just grown acustomed to each other? WHAT?????

  • Jane Stahl  - just prayers please
i am stuck in a marrage gone wrong. i would love to be able to go get my husband
of 10 years to go to marrage counceling but i know he wont. he got hurt on his
job 7 years ago. had knee surgery and ever since then he has not worked in and
out of the doctors offices. all they do for him is give him pain medication
which all that does is make him sleep. he was getting workmans comp, spending
every dime he got on pain medication then he went on SSI which caused us to lose
our home b/c we could no longer make the payment. things just seem to be getting
worse with him taking all this pain medication that my life consists of taking
care of him, working and having to do all the lifes chores that normal couples
share i do my self. i pray every day for Jesus help and pray that every decision
i make is in Jesus name. i know God has a plan for everyone and if this is his
plan for me i will praise him in this storm. i pray for him to maybe ...

  • Tracy Gonzalez  - Please enter us into the contest
My husband & I have been married for almost 30 years. We have one child in high
school two who are married with children of their own. We married young and have
grown up together, and now have grown apart. I'm feeling done, betrayed by his
behavior over the years. He says he wants to work on our marriage, but I don't
want to waste any more of my time if it's only going to lead to more heart ache.
I will stay with him until our son graduates; two more years. We decided to try
counseling and I'll see if that helps in any way. I'm not sure this conference
is for us, it may be better for someone that feels like there's hope, but who
knows. I'll leave it up to God. He's the one person in my life that I will trust
and who I know won't reject me.
